Is It Possible To Get Pregnant Without Penis Penetrating Into Vagina?

Hi. My girlfriend and I were fooling around today(less than 12 hrs ago). My penis had some precum and I just rubbed it around her vulva just for 2-3 seconds. I didn't penetrate her as she is a virgin and wants to remain as one for the near future. Could she get pregnant? And if yes, would it be safe for her to take emergency contraceptive pill, such as I-pill, and would the pill effect her future pregnancies or her ovaries, etc. Please help me, I am so freaked out!

Hi,
Even precum might have few sperms and if go into vagina can cause pregnancy.
Having virginity intact one can become pregnant as upper part of vagina is open from where period bleeding comes.
So if any doubt she should go for taking emergency contraceptive pill as soon as possible.
There will not be any bad effect in her future pregnancies or on genital tract.
Ok and take care.

hello,
thank you for using health care magic..
sometimes sperms can be present on precum fluid.. and even in virgin hymen is not intact fully..
chances of getting pregnant are extremly less.. still if you want to be on safer side your girl friend can take i pill.. its first dose has to be taken with in 24 to 72 hours after sexual activity and second dose after 12 hours.. its absolutely safe so no need to worry..
hope this helps you..
take care..

General & Family Physician Dr. Naresh Jain's  Response
Hello Good Evening,

Pre-ejaculate or pre-cum is the clear, colorless, viscous fluid that emits from the urethra of the human penis during sexual arousal.

It is similar in composition to semen but has some significant chemical differences. The fluid has found no or low levels of sperm.

Pre-cum is believed to function as a lubricant and an acid neutralizer. The amount of pre-cum emitted varies widely between individuals; some men emit none.

The vagina is normally acidic, so the deposit of pre-cum before the emission of semen may change the vaginal environment to promote sperm survival.

But in your case pre-cum rubbed only around the vulva, not inside the vagina, so very rare chances to get pregnant even if she were in fertile period, so be relaxed and wait for period to come.

Rather than if you wish for her to take emergency contraceptive pill, such as I-pill then proceed, nothing will affect her future pregnancies or her ovaries, but do not think for i-pill frequently in future, because they can cause hormonal imbalance, to be used as an emergency, not as regular or frequently.

Regards,

Dr. Naresh Jain
