Hi,

Duphaston will cause heavy bleeding especially if you didnt have periods or had spotting only for quite some time as your womb wall may have thickened over time as you are not shedding it regularly every menses. Generally not to worry but if bleeding continues for more than a week or if you are feeling pale, dizzy then immediately show a gynecologist as a emergency cleaning of your womb (called D& C) needs to be done then. Let me know if you bleed more than a week.
