Is It Normal To Have Pink And Brown Discharge During Pregnancy?

I am 6th week of my pregnancy.. Since last three days i have some spotting like pinkish and brownish.... I went to the Dr yesterday and she told me that it is normal. She told me to have a blood test for pregnancy and it came out postive. She precirbed me to take bed rest and take tablets Duphaston and Folic Acid daily for 20 days and then come back for ultrsound...Plese help

Hi..you should adhere to the advice of your doctor and follow the same..the only modification i would like to suggest is to get a transvaginal ultrasound for viability and site of pregnancy as soon as possible instead of 20 days later, as spotting might be normal but may also be a sign of threatened miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy..so better would be an early detection of the same if it's there in any case..
