Is It Harmful To Take I Pills Frequently?

hi doctor, I took ipill three times this month.all these days when i took this were safe days for me..but i took ipills to be more sure.i took the last one just two days before my period date.now my periods are 5 days late.is it harmful to use ipill more than twice in a month.or will it be ineffective when taken repeatedly in my body.i took all these ipills with in 10 days .

I-pill is emergency contraceptive pill,
For regular use not recommended as it has adverse effects like nausea, vomiting, headaches, delaying or early occurrence of menstrual cycle, lower abdominal pain and in some cases excessive vaginal bleeding.on chronic use serious hormonal imbalance in the body and can give rise to serious health problems.ovarian problems,
There are other better contraceptive methods you can discuss with gynecologist which ever method is suitable for you and practice that method..
