Is It Hard To See Micrognathia In A Ultrasound Unless It Is Severe?

I have been told my baby at the ultrasound of 20 weeks may micronathia, and also in my notes it says that the heart is normal in size and structure but is displaced a little to the right i.am going for a 2nd opinion on friday i have read up on the internet that micrognathia is hard to see in a ultrasound unless it is severe is this true also how common is it for micrognathia not to have a syndrome attached?

Yes you are right in saying that its very difficult to diagnose micrognathia on ultrasound but its comparatively better in 3D ultrasound.
