Is Irregular Periods Due To Impregnation And Subsequent Miscarriage?

I'm 16 and I have a few questions. I've also never been to and OBGYN. First off, I'm not a virgin and my regular Dr. Doesn't know this. I lost my v card at 14 to a really close friend of mine. He was a virgin to so I know he didn't have anything, but we didn't use a condom. I dint know pre-cum could impregnate me. I felt weird/sick for a while afterwards, and my period which came spot on every month stopped. It skips 3 months now and then light bleeding, before another 3,4,or months. Could I have been pregnant and miscarried? Secondly, I had masturbated with a toy before I lost my virginity. There wasn't any pain, but I know it went past where my hymen should have been. Is there anyway to tell, by examination, if I was born with a hymen at all? I haven't had my period in 4 months so far, but haven't had sex since I was 14. Could birth control help regulate it? How do I tell my mom I want a gyno apmt., and is the OBGYN sworn to confidentiality or can the tell my parents I'm not a virgin?

Hi,thanks for posting your query at HCM
Ya you are right as per my information there are chances that female can be born without a hymen
As you said that you had asexual intercourse at the age of 14 years and that you had a missed periods followed by light bleeding. Without any mention of any tests from your history I can only guess that it could have been abortion.

Regarding the masturbation thing I am sorry that there was nobody to guide you .But you must take some elderly person esp. your mother into confidence to guide you better .

And now you again complaining of amennorhea 9missed periods ) for 4 months the reason could be anything from hormonal imbalance to any underlying pathology in the uterus or vagina . We can only start with the treatment once it has been ruled out
Yes there are chances you could be given birth control pill that could help in starting your cycle and making them regular
If you want that your OB does not tell anybody , you have full right to maintain the secrecy of your life
And again it is your wish to tell your mother
Hope you are able to cope with the situation
Take care
