Is cramps ,tender breasts a pre-menstrual symptom ?

I haven't had my period in over a month. This morning, I woke up with mild cramps, the type I usually feel before I get my period. My right breast has also been feeling very strange (random, dull aches ) and my right nipple gets stiff, then goes back to normal. It s also somewhat tender to the touch. Is this a pre- menstrual symptom. I m sorry, I forgot to mention that I am DEFINITELY not pregnant . And I have had missed periods before.

Not having a period in a month could be due to pregnancy. Have you been tested for it. If not it could be due to PCOS. In case you don't get your period then you need to get examined by your Gynaecologist for hormonal and ovarian problems as well.

Hi Sarah,

The symptoms you mention are typical premenstrual symptoms.

As you said it is about a month back you had your period, this may well be, that your next period is on it's way. If you do not get your period within a few days, and if there is a possibility that you could be pregnant, then you should get your pregnancy test done.
If you are 100 % certain that you could not be pregnant then you need not worry about that.
