i am 58 years old woman. Perforation in the ear drum was observed 2 years back. Yesterday some water went in the ear and resulted in acute pain in the ear and sides. Can I use Candibiotic drops? When I use this drops I am getting burning pain for few secods. Is it normal?

A perforated drum USUALLY repairs itself. If it is not then it sets up predisposition for infection to get in. This would be a reason to have it looked at and putting anything into a perforated ear is a bad idea
