Is Brand Focalin Better Than Generic Focalin?

I have noticed that I do better on brand focalin than I do on generic focalin. I looked at the ingredients, and I found that brand focalin has an extra chemical that helps in dispsersion - its called potato starch A, or something like that. Then I put a brand focalin and a generic focalin each in a cup of water, and the brand dissolved MUCH faster than the generic. So, I believe there is a difference, and I am trying to get medicare to pay for brand, because its $200 per month. Can you give me advice?

Greetings !

Well yes the branded focalin is better than the generic version for reasons listed below.

1) superior quality
2) faster solubility and onset of action
3) more accurately measured components within it.
4) better to tolerate and so less side effects and much more safer than the generic version.

So what you experienced can be understood, so if possible try to use the branded version only for better efficacy and outcome.

I hope this helps.

Regards
