Is Bleeding Between Periods Normal After Taking Rigevidon Pill?

Hi After having my son nearly 6 months ago I was prescribed rigevidon pill. This has caused me to bleed between periods lightly, is this normal or could it be a sign of cervical cancer? I ve now thrown pill away to try and get myself back to normal, what can I expect?
