Neurologist 's  Response
hi,
Plz give the compund name of the drug . i think your daughter is getting sodium valprovate. With what you are telling your daughter seems to have delayed mile stones with speech delay. I would like to know her EEG findings, MRI findings .How long has she had epilepsy, what type of fits occurs , whether it involves right side or left side , does she gets jerks.
there are newer drugs available, which can be prescribed only after detailed evaluation of your daughter and available MRI, and EEg etc.
I would suggest you to meet a neurologist and have him evaluate her.
regards
