Is Adderol A Viable Remedy For Hallucinogenic Persistant Perception Disorder?
hallucinogenic persistant perception disorder im wondering if adderol would be a good treatment for hppd since through my experience i believe its causes by disrupted sensory gating. 1 adderol is an anti depressant 2 adderol is used to treat narcolepsy so it keeps you awake 3 it also helps with the bad short term memory and add and adhd symptoms that come with my case of hppd. what is your appinion, based on what little information i shared?

Adderall is a stimulant having Dextroamphetamine- amphetamine as components helps to concentrate on an activity and continuing the activity without deviation. Prescribed mainly in attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. HPPD, Hallucinogen - Persisting perception disorder is an disorder in which the individual feels visual disturbances. Unlike post traumatic stress disorder, the perception is less intense. They are conscious about their environment and that they are aware of the images are false that is pseudo hallucination. The visual disturbances make them anxious and depressed.
Lamotrigine, an anti-epileptic helps to control the visual disturbances. The disorder is usually due to previous recreational drug usage. Adderall have not much impact on the disorder. Discuss with your doctor about the symptoms and treatment option and its prognosis. Clonazepam is an other drug proved helpful in some individuals. Stress relief by exercise, yoga helps a bit to overcome the condition.
