Irregular Periods After Stopped Taking Femilon. Took Medication Again. Is It Safe?

hi,
i used femilon for about 3 yrs having nearby 5-6 times gaps in between of about 1 month. now i stopped taking pills resulting irregular menses. i didn't have periods till 3 months. then as suggested by my gyno. i took medicine having period for about 10 days. after that 2 months i have normal bleeding. this month it's about to have 20 days and still it continues. what to do? is it normal or dangerous? suggest some solution?

It would be good to know how old are you.
The work up for irregular bleeding is different depending on your age.
If you are young and still having this bleeding and it is becoming bothersome for you or is excessive. I would suggest to start on contraception again. You can discuss the exact method with your obgyn. Usually selection will depend on effectiveness, bleeding pattern and when you want to have another baby.
