Hyper Acidity And Menstrual Cramps. Missed Period. Why?
Experiencing menstrual cramps and have hyper acidity. Reason for missed period? my girlfriend is almost a month late with her period but she says she feels it coming since she is experiencing menstrual cramps or cramps in her abdomen. she is also having hyper acidity lately, can that be a trigger as to why she is late with her period or does that have any connection to her period? ADDITIONAL NOTE: she has tried in the past right after her 1st menstruation that her next menstrual cycle was already 7 mos after her 1st and she was menstruating for almost a month. and shes always delayed with her cycles. seldom does it come on time.
Hello, With the past history of highly irregular cycles, the timing of the next cycle cannot be predicted; nor can it be expected to be seen in a month. If she is not on any contraception, you should definitely exclude pregnancy. Hyper-acidity may sometimes be part of the premenstrual symptom complex, but need not be one. After excluding pregnancy, she should get investigated to know the cause for the irregular cycles. Hyper-acidity may be treated by antacids and other medication. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
