Good evening sir. i am 23 year old married girl . my period is due from 5 days. now i am going to use MTP. pleas tell me how to use misoprostol pills vaginally. can i take misoprostol oraly also. i have purchased cipla MTP. IN that instruction is there to use vaginaly.

Hi,

If you have history of unprotected sexual activity then please get mornings for sample of urine tested for pregnancy. If you get positive result on urine pregnancy test, then only go ahead for MTP pill kit. As such it is advisable to use medical termination pill kit under medical supervision only. Tablet Mifepristone followed by tablet Misoprostol after 48 hours is recommended dose. Tablet Misoprostol can be taken orally or per vaginally.
