How To Treat Uterine Hematoma?

My wife is pregnant. Her last monthly period date ia 14th May, 2012. She is suffering from bleeding since a month. She is having a hematoma of about 2 cm in uterus. Doctor has given progesterone and ethamsylate. Is it safe? Would you kindly suggest something?

Hello,

2 cm hematoma generally will not cause much problems and will settle by itself. You have to take complete bed rest to prevent expansion of the hematoma. Continue your routine pills.
