I am having pain on the left shoulder since one month. X-ray did not revel any defect. I do light exercise of my hand per the advice of physical therapist. I take advil which is helping temporarily. It may be artharitis. Please advise me. Nagesh Rao
The first step to treatment is a correct diagnosis. Your xray was normal. I would advise you to get an MRI of the shoulder to look for soft tissue changes that the xray would not be able to show.
Once that is done, you will have a clearer picture of what is going on and be closer to a permanent solution.
