I would like to tell you that you are having this recurrent problem due to your cold , what happens in cold you will find some infected discharge dripping down in throat called as post nasal drip, this actually deveops infection in throat which ultimately disturbs the functioning of eustachian tube (tubular connection between ear and throat).
