Suggest Medication For Nasal Congestion & Running Nose

Had nasal congestion last night (mild) and woke up very tired this morning. Have a running nose instead of congestion (all day). I took a 1000mg Vitamin C effervescent this morning as well as a multi-vitamin tablet. Still suffering with a running nose and to make it worse got my period this afternoon. My eyes feel a bit strange this evening but that s probably because I spent a lot of time in front of the laptop and the cold doesn t help. Is it safe to have some Panadol? or Clarinase?

Hi,

Start taking saline nasal spray Solspre or Nasoclear nose drop. It will clear the allergic mucin. Take fluticasone nasal spray. It will decrease the allergic inflammation of the nose. Take proper steam inhalation through nose. Stay away from allergens like household dust, smoke, animal dandruff, pollen grains.

Take bath after coming from office. Lead a healthy and stress-free life. Avoid excess tea, coffee, spicy food. Don't take smoking, alcohol. Allergic rhinitis will slowly decrease but it will take some time to settle.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
