What Causes Stuffy Nose With Blood And Mucus?

It is now 10 days after liposuction. I seem to have a stuffy nose in the morning, and blood and mucus when I blow. No blood after the first blood. Nose runs somewhat during the day. This is new for me, although I do take singulair 10 mg. 1/day and nasonex (1 puff each nostril) for allergy (no symptoms usually).

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello,

You have probably got a common cold situation as you are just so near a post operative situation. Don’t worry. Just try to have a rest take painkillers and a lot of liquids. You can continue the singular also no problem.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Jolanda Nikolla, Pulmonologist
