How To Treat Classical Vertigo While On Vertin 16 Mg?

Hello Doctor, I had classical vertigo symptoms (dizziness and severe acidity) 3 days back. Before that about 2 months back, I had dizziness, which went off after my family doctor prescribed a tables for 3 days. But I had very mild unsteadiness after that. But for this one, I have been prescribed vertin 16 mg , 3 times a day for 10 days. Anything you would like to recommend now and after the medicine course is over? Thanks.

Hi, Vertin works fine for simple vertigo. The point is whether conditions that cause vertigo; like vestibular disease or brain stem diseases have been ruled out. If everything else is ruled out, you may try a combination of vertin (betahistine) + gingko biloba or vinpocetin, which will give better response. Hope this has helped.
