HI just wondering if i can take champix, while i am taking zoloft (serata) 100 mg. I gave up smoking using champix and stayed off for two years, in which time i had some trumatic events happen and was prescribed zoloft for anxiety, but about 4 months ago i unfortunately slipped believing i could have just one cigarette now i really want to quit again??
Hi dear, You can take champix with sertraline on going. no problem if you take both together. If champix works in past that means this time also you response well with it. Also there are other medication which helpful like Bupropion, nicotine replacement gum, lozenges etc.. if withdrawal symptoms there take clonazepam or etizolam.. Consult your treating psychiatrist. Also do psychotherapy so in future also you will not start again smoking and cope better with situation. Thank you
