How To Get Rid Of Facial Hair Permanently That Was Caused By Using Surfaz?

I used to use surfaz sn on my face thinking it could help lighten my skin and clear the spots and pimples on my face I ve used it for a couple of years about 6 years to be exact. And I ve started having excess hair growth all over my face on my cheeks which I really don't feel uncomfortable. So I ve stopped using it. I would really be glad if u could help me get rid of this facial hair permanently.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

I read you query and understood your concern.
Its very unlikely that surfaz would have caused the excessive hair growth on your face.
If the hair growth is sudden you should get a condition called hirsutism ruled out. Get a hormonal work up dont for polycystic ovarian disease since it is most common cause of hirsutism.
If you have other associated symptoms like acne, weight gain, irregular menstruation, it all points towards PCOD, and if not the chances are low and it could be without any underlying cause.

The only permanent method to get rid of facial hair is lasers, and electrolysis, done by a dermatologist. I'd recommend you to go for lasers as it is safer and lesser painful.
You can also talk to your dermatologist about vaniqa cream a chemical method to aloe hair growth but it is only effective until it is being used.
For immediate measure, you can bleach the hair to reduce the appearance.

Hope I helped
