How To Confirm Pregnancy?

hi, I'm 2 days late on my period and I've been having period like symptoms the past few days such as bloating and cramping along with other symptoms such as nausea, frequent urination, night sweats, and gas. I took a pregnancy test last night but it was negative. I know it could be too early or maybe I took it too late in the day and my urine was too diluted of the hcg hormone but I'm wondering if its possible that I'm pregnant?

Hi,

Two days of missed period may be too early in most women to detect pregnancy. False negative result can commonly occur. Hence, I would suggest you to repeat the test by 7 to 10 days of missed period which can give you reliable result. Always perform urine test with an early morning sample which will be concentrated and can detect Hcg levels more accurately.

Alternatively you can also do a blood beta Hcg test to detect pregnancy which is more sensitive than urine test.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
