hello i am 18 years old and just lost my virginity. my mom still treats me like a child and i am scared to tell her i want to get on birth control to prevent a young pregnancy. how do i tell her i want too be on birth control with out letting her know i had sex.

At your age group barrier contraception like condom , can be started it ll not only prevent unwanted pregnancy but also STI and any of the partner can start using it and have least side effect compared to other , easily available ( so doesn't require prescription or permission )
