How Many Co-amoxiclav Tablets Should Be Taken For Cat Scratch?
i had a cat scratch 3 weeks ago that i cleaned with alcohol and antiseptic but until now it is still red and a bit swollen. i researched that it was Pasteurella multocida and it can be helped by Co-amoxiclav. i already have a previous doctor s prescription because i had a cat bite before. my question is how many tablets should i buy?

You are right that cats can cause infections with Pasteurella multocida, and in general for animal scratches like this Amoxicillin-clavulanate is recommended. For local infections like yours, the recommended dosage would be 500 mg three times a day for 7 to 10 days.
