Hello,

One of the possible side effects of co-amoxiclav is nausea and vomiting, although it is not a common side effect. If you are taking co-amoxiclav and experience vomiting, it is important to inform your healthcare provider. They may recommend adjusting your dosage or switching to a different medication if the vomiting is severe or persistent.

It is also possible that the vomiting is caused by an underlying condition or infection rather than the medication itself. Your healthcare provider can evaluate your symptoms and determine the appropriate course of action. In some cases, they may recommend additional treatment or tests to identify the underlying cause of the vomiting.

If you experience other symptoms in addition to vomiting, such as severe abdominal pain, fever, or dehydration, seek medical attention right away as these may be signs of a more serious condition.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shah Hussain, General & Family Physician
