How Long Does It Take To Shrink An Enlarged Prostate?
How long does it take to shrink an enlarged prostate for radiation seed implants using Lupron Depot shots and Casodex pills? Also, my prostate biopsy showed 4 readings of Gleason 6 and 1 reading of Gleason 7; would radiation seeds be appropriate for treating my prostate cancer? Thanks, Bruce

You have been diagnosed to have Prostate Cancer with Gleason's score of 7 .
The choice of treatment for Cancer of the prostate depends upon the fact whether it is organ confined disease or has infiltrated in surrounding tissue.
Radical Prostatectomy is preferred mode of treatment in case cancer is confined to prostate gland .
Whereas radiation is advised in cases where it has spread to surrounding tissue .
