How can we heal the burn injuries faster and get a natural looking skin ?

Dear Doctor, My sister , aged 43 yrs , got burnt by hot water in November last & was under treatment in AAAAAAA Nursing Home , Cuttack for over one month. She had multiple burn injuries in about 40% of her right part of the body.Still now the burn areas are not cured and the skins are very very hard and it gives pain if the body bends or acts for doing something. There are dark spots and the burning areas are also not recovering fast and the colour of the skin is looking unnatural. Please advise.

Dear S.K.Sahoo
40 % burns is quite a big area and period from Nov to March is long enough to heal. Wounds from burns usually take long to heal, the way you are narrating it appears as if strictures are also formed. Surgery can be considered.
In ayurveda we use aloe gel for local application, it is known to heal burn injuries rapidly, as this is gel in natural form so it will soothe the skin and also prevent discoloration. Internally use some blood purifiers as haridra and mahamanjishtha and also add immuno boosters like aamla to her diet.
