Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...hi doctor good morning my problem is just 1 month back i got operated for fisttula near my toilet hole.doctors just only give a deep cut and avery little stich.and they told me to use only povidine iodine solution 2-3 times aday ,mixed with water and sit on it.doctor i just want to know whether these idea of only sitting on the solution is ok , or should i take some medicine to make my operated part heelquickly.one more thing i want to know that is there any possibility of develop a new festula track from that operated part in future

It will take quite long time to heal completely.

If there is no signs of infection no definite treatment is required.

You can apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin for faster recovery.
