How Can An Anal Fistula Be Treated?

was more than a year ago I was hit by a low anal fistula and said the doctor needed a procedure and was delayed because of the hospital and the appointments .. And after the last days I suffered an anal injury says because of constipation and two days ago swelling swelled at the opening of the anus and blood flow is an abscess or not. And the second question is what causes abscess ... and treatment .. Fistula in the left side and once again Dr. Open it and drop blood but abscess Mu in the same place fistula next to him and swelling in the left side open the anus. Now is this abscess considered a fistula or a fistula or fistula becomes an abscess and an outlet to vent. Now it is considered fistula and open or open it alone and fistula one. Treatment ... Is the treatment of low fistula fistula easy and the impact on the muscles of the anus .. We settled two tests MRI last 1/1/2017 On his words, low fistula, first rays and second ringing I m worried about the process ... because I already had hemorrhoids 4 years ago

Hi,

Haemorrhoids are the most important causal factor of anal fistula.

As per your description, you seem to be suffering from an abscess and anal fistula. Which appeared earlier doesn't matter. Surgery is the only curable option for an anal fistula.

For an abscess, drainage of pus by giving a small incision is done and then depending upon the improvement of the wound, further management is planned.

So, if you are suffering from an acute perianal abscess, first it is to be treated with drainage and antibiotics.anal fistula surgery is to be performed.

It is not a major procedure and you can get discharged from the hospital for a maximum of 2 days of postoperative wound care and hygiene help early healing. Most important thing is constipation is to be strictly prevented and fibre diet is compulsory.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
