History Of Knee Replacement And Tetanus Shot. Stomach Cramps, Headache, Nausea. Your Opinion
Hi I am 55 years of age and have had tetanus shot every ten years. Last year I had a knee replacement and then I just had a tetanus shot four days ago. on the second day a was a work and one hour after I ate I got stomach cramps, headache and nausea. Two hours later I started to throw up. At first I thought food poisoning but now I am wondering if it was a reaction the needle. Pleas give your opinion
You had received Tetanus in the past which were uneventful.
So it may not be for the vaccine but if it was contaminated then there are possibility of adverse reaction.
You need to rule out other causes by remembering the activities which you might have done on that day or the day before which might have contributed for this event.
