I shall lis the most common categories that should be considered: -Abnormalities within the uterus (eg. Fibroids, polyps, tumors, cancer, etc.) -Endometrial abnomalities (eg. Endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia, etc.) -Hormonal imbalance caused due to various other conditions
For this reason I would recommend the following: -Transvaginal scan -Bimanual examination -Speculum examination -Hormone level check
I am sure these investigations will help in finding the exact cause and accordingly direct treatment.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
