hello
do you have an audiogram (hearing test ) after injury?
Deafness is of two types conductive and sensorineural...this can be diagnosed by audiogram.you have to get this done.
If its conductive then yes you do have an option of surgery or medicines.
but if its sensorineural it is quite late .but there is an option of a trial medicines which could be done or otherwise you will have to use a hearing aid depending on the audiogram.

Hello

Thanks for writing to H.C.M.for your query.

I have gone through your query regarding hearing loss from your right ear after an accident. You are feeling as your diseased ear has started working but not upto the mark.

Considering your problem I would like to suggest to investigate your right ear by-

(a) Audiometery- ( Pure tone & impedance).

(b) M.R.I. of right ear.

By this way we can judge weather hearing loss is conductive or sensorynural. If it is of conductive variety than by operative proceedures you may regain hearing. But if it is found to be sensorynural than only hearing aid will be helpful.

I hope your query is now well explained.

Regards.
