Hello,

Glaucoma is due to increase in the intra ocular pressure in the eye. If it is uncontrolled then it can damage the optic nerve and cause blindness. But there are medication which when take regularly can control the intra ocular pressure. Cataract can be easily cured by surgery. Blood sugar should be controlled tightly to slow the progress of the disease.
