Weight gain adds to the problems associated with polycystic ovaries and when a weight is decreased there can be an improvement in cycles and chance of conception.
Weight can be reduced with a change in lifestyle. This means altering both the diet and level of activity. You may want to consider reducing any sodas or juices and using water or low calorie drinks instead.
In addition there are different diet plans available - low calorie/low fat and low carbohydrate. You can choose the one that best suits you.
In terms of activity, you would need to exercise at least 150 minutes a week.
Metformin is also used in this condition. It helps with the symptoms and may help with the weight as well.
I hope this helps
