hi..i have been in and out of docs due to severe pain after sex then cramping in pelvic and back without sex(may be from constipation..also show distended rectum in ct scan which has gone away but i am not having constipation any longer)..still have pain w sex.. but i have been off depo provera for months but have not stopped bleeding daily for 5 months..also in ct showed fluid in cul de sac..i have had ultrasounds that are normal..what can this be..went to new doc today and she wasnt sure it was a 1st time visit and she put me on birth control again. I feel exhausted daily,too. Any recccomendations please? i am 27 yrs old 125 lbs. Thank you so much!
Hi, In the present scenario, you may have to rule out endometriosis and pelvic inflammation. You may also need to take counselling as to ascertain if there are any other non-organic causes for your dyspareunia. Also,you would need a complete hormonal profile, blood counts and urinalysis to see the cause of your prolonged bleeding. I would suggest that you see an expert in menstrual disorders for further management. Take care.
