Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

The extraction socket has not healed completely.

I would advice you to get a warm saline gargle frequently.

Complete course of antibiotics-analgesics has to be administered.

Meanwhile,maintain oral hygiene well.

Avoid anxiety and stress.

Irrigate the socket with lukewarm saline and apply EU GE N O L Solution into the socket.

Rinse your mouth after every meals.

Take care.

Hi,
i have gone through the information provided by you.

Pain and swelling after extraction occurs due to trauma to the bone and soft tissues.

After extraction one can notice the hole of socket covered with gummy tissues for some days until the wound heals completely, after 30-40 days the area where the extraction had done fills up completely by healthy bony & gum tissues and the hole or depression is no longer seen.

You have not mentioned that you are taking medications after extraction or not.

After extraction I prescribe my patient antibiotics,anti-inlamatory and pain killer medication which helps in reducing the inflammation and infection of the extraction wound.

you can use mouth wash or warm water ( 1 tbs of salt in a glass of water) to gargle 3-4 times a day.

if the pain is intense and unbearable you should visit your dentist as it could occur if the blood clot is dislodged from socket leading to the infection of bone which is a very painful condition.

In such case you must visit your dentist and get the wound cleaned and dressed with medication.

Hope you satisfied by the answer.

Take care.

Regards

Welcome to HCM,

I suggest you to keep oral hygiene well by using mouth wash after foods and take antibiotics with anelgesics for 3 days . Do not tryto remove food particles that struck insitu by foreign objects as it may cause infection , try to gargle and remove food particles. do not keep mouth dry as it leads way for growth of micoorganisms.

Hope i provided useful information for better life.

hii..

Welcome to HCM

Since you have undergone wisdom tooth extraction it may take 3 weeks to 3 months for complete healing to take place depending on the degree of damage to the dental tissues.

The skin that u felt to your upper left was actually the granulation tissue which is formed during the process of healing

Avoid eating from you left side.

Frequent warm saline rinses and antiseptic mouth wash gargles will fasten recovery

Maintain good oral hygiene especially after meals.

GET WELL SOON. take care.

Regards.
