Had Unprotected Sex. Missed Period And Have Lower Abdominal Pain. Is This The Cause Of Concern?
I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago am 4 days late on my period have lower stomach pain and have been feeling like i am going to be sick for a straight week now. i looked at an ovulation calendar and it says i wasnt ovulating that week we had sex. i have been off birth control since october. nothing else is tender or hurting just cramps and feeling sick.
To rule out pregnancy you conduct a pregnancy test at home for a quick assessment. Besides pain in your power back do have any other symptoms such as burning sensation during urination ? You need to look out for other symptoms such as itching, vaginal discharge as you had unprocted sex.
If none of the above occur positive then u have a delayed period and the lower abdominal pain could be related to the menstruation.
Do check with your gynaecologists if your periods are delayed more than a week for a specialist opinion.
