Had Tuberculosis. Pain In My Chest Bones When I Sneezing And Take Deep Breath. Does My Infection Still Remains Or Any Thing Else?

hi doctor ,i am ritu from delhi age 28 , last year (2012) i was infected with tuberculosis ,dr.says this is pulmonary tuberculosis .and thay remove fluid from lungs .and i take 9 month treatment.and then dr.says u r healthy ...but i still not feel healthy bcoz there is pain in my chest bones when i sneezing and take deep breath ..is my infection is still remain or any thing else please reply

Hi, thanks for posting the question to H.C.M.
From your query we reached a conclusion that you were a patient of pleural effusion and for that disease you had taken a treatment of tuberculosis.
Your's query is that still you feel pain in chest bones while sneezing & deep breathing.
Presuming that you had a standard treatment and aspirated fluid from lungs have been examined in lab for culture etc.
If you just had finished your treatment 1-2 months back than need not to worry.
In recent cases who had finished their tt some pain remains due to trauma and anxiety they faced during tt and social stigma.
You do one more thing get in blood examination for C B C and E S R.
If E S R is very high >70 mm than get an X ray chest to rule out any fluid in cavity.
If all things are normal than forget all things that you had faced a serious disease in recent time.
