Had Symptoms Of BPH. No Tests Done. Have Difficulty To Get An Erection. On Tamsulosin. ED Problem Not Resolved. Treatment?

Hi. I am 58 y.o.male I recently went to my primary with symptoms of BPH. There was no exam done, no blood tests performed. Along with this concern of mine was difficulty getting an erection. He gave me a Rx for Tamsulosin and the problems with night urination have somewhat resolved, the sx's of ED have not resolved. Can you recommend a Dr.in the Los Angeles area who will take my complaint more seriously so that I can identify the cause of my ED and symptoms of BPH?

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Urology and Andrology go together –
The same specialist treating prostate also is the one to investigate and treat the erectile dysfunction
You will need a few basic investigations and appropriate treatment.
Have a second opinion - It is often not complicated and easily treatable

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
