Hello, Padillarose,
Sorry to hear that you don't have insurance. I hope you can seek
help at free medical clinics usually supported by community or
religious groups. You can easily find out calling your county
officials.
Regardless, I will try to analyze your symptoms.
A growling stomach indicates either build up of too much gas
in the stomach or very poor digestion.
Sharp pains,
nausea,
vomiting may indicate inflammation of
the stomach lining such as "Gastritis" or even
Peptic ulcer.
I suggest that you avoid all alcohol, limit caffeine intake,
stay away from carbonated beverages. If you are a smoker,
please quit that habit ASAP.
I know, you can't afford to have lab tests, x-ray or
endoscopy.
But try visiting the medical clinic and you may have these done.
In the mentime, there are drugs that you can get over the counter
called H-2 blockers, which are less expensive than PPI drugs.
You can get
Ranitidine 150 mg, tablets twice a day after morning
breakfast and after the evening meal. Stay on it for 4-6 weeks.
You should see improvement after 2 weeks.
Try to avoid lactose containing products. If you have lactose
intolerance, this should help. Last thing is
Gluten products such
as wheat, Barley and Oats. If you are gluten sensitive, avoiding these
will improve your symptoms.
I wish you well and may God Bless.
