Got Operated For A Pregnancy Termination. Got Periods, Bleeding Is Heavy. Was Using Contraceptive Pills. Problem?

hi doc. i got operated for a pregnancy termination 3 months earlier. i got periods 3 times after that, first immidately after operation, then after one month then it was a little late than a month. after my last period again i got periods after just one week, it is the second day and the bleeding is heavy. the blood color is exactly red. i was using contracepted pills meanwhile

Thanks for the query.

The possible cause for your bleeding is hormonal imbalance.
As you are taking contraceptive pills, they can also cause inter-menstrual bleeding as side effect. Skipping the pills can also lead to withdrawal bleeding.
So you once consult gynecologist, get examined to find out the cause for your problem.
Take tablets to stop the bleeding.
And if needed you have to take additional dose of hormones to prevent future irregularity menstrual cycle.
After using the pills for two to three months, possibly the cycles can become regular.
