Getting severe stabbing pain approx 3 in down inside Left thigh shooting upward towards cooch/groin. Happens as fast as being stabbed and pulled out. Happened 2:30.am. repeated 6-7 times in approx one minute. And then stopped till 7:30am. Then did it again about 9:00. Comes and goes quick. Pain so severe as to make me yell out.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, it appears to be the stone in the ureter near the bladder. or it also may be the arthritis of the hip joint.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have MRI for confirmation. Thank you.
