Frequent Urination, Pain During Ejaculation. Taken Flotral. Help
FOUR YEARS AGO, I CONSULTED A UROLOGIST BECAUSE I WAS FACING TWIN PROBLEM OF FREQUENT URINATION AND PAIN AT THE TIME OF EJACULATION. HE PUT ME ON FLOTRAL 10 MG FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS. SINCE THEN, I HAVE NEVER HAD PROBLEM AT THE TIME OF EJACULATION. HOWEVER, FOR THE LAST ONE YEAR, I AM FACING THE PROBLEM OF VERY FREQUENT URINATION.....ONCE IN EVERY HALF-AN-HOUR. I DON'T NEED TO WAKE UP FOR URINATION AT NIGHT....GENERALLY.

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have increased frequency of urination since a long time.
It would have helped me to make proper assessment if you could have mentioned your age.
Please consult your Urologist again for clinical examination and few basic investigations like
1)Routine urine and culture test
2) Ultrasound scanning of the abdomen.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics along with urinary anti spasmodic like Flavoxate twice daily .
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.

Welcome to HCM.
It is better for you to have a urine deposit examination and a seminal analysis. In any of these examination, presence of pus cells more than 5 indicates either urinary tract infection or a reproductive tract infection. If it is less than 5 just ignore and consume adequate quantity of water. If it is more than 5 pus cells then subject the same (urine or semen) for culture and sensitivity examination. There by we can fix the problem then treatment is easy and total. Prsotatits also to be ruled out by a per rectal examination.
