Forehand Injury Above Wrist, Bruise, Swelling, Small Lump. Bruised Vein?

height 5 4 , weight 180, age 41 - i hit my forehand right above my wrist on the corner of a wall about 40 minutes ago - it started to bruise and swell slightly - if I bend my wrist, it hurts - like a sting - there is a small lump that I can feel right beside it - should I let a nurse/physician look at it or did I just bruise a vein? The lump is beside the vein....

it might be local bruise muscle tear or traumatic oedema but must consult the doctor who may find damage to bones by xray
for control this you can use antibiotics anti inflamatory tabs
can alo apply local antibiotic ointments before youconsult your doctor

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some strain and some blod oozing under the skin of the wrist.
But having fracture at this site is common called Colle's fracture, so fracture should be ruled out.
Go to Er and get x-ray done.
