For Hoe Long Will I Have The Breakthrough Bleeding When On Levlen?

Hi im on Levlen ED and i am curently having what i believer is breakthrough bleeding i have been overseas for about a month and a half and when i got back home because of time changes i took my pills at the usual time and now i am bleeding, howlong will this last for and should i continue to take my pills just as usual. It has been going on for about a week.

it is possible that the time change caused a withdrawal bleed which may explain your irregular bleeding. that may be the case if there was a delay in taking the pills due to the time change.

the best thing at this point is to just continue taking the pills daily, and your periods should straighten out. since you didn't miss more than a day of pills, you should still be protected from pregnancy. if you are really bothered by the bleeding, you can discuss with your soxtor the possibility of taking two pills a day for a few days to stop the bleeding.
