Fever, Cough, Sneezing, Viral Infection, Leg Pain, Trouble Walking. Cure?

My 6 year old has been running a fever off and on for 4 days along with coughing, sneezing . Pediatrician checked for strep and concluded there is no bacterial infection but rather viral. We were advised that fever might persist for few more days. Today my daughter complained about leg pains in both calfskin and appears to have trouble walking. We are extremely concerned.
