Fell Off Landing On Head. Was Dizzy, Nauseous, Large Lump On Head. Treatment?

My sons friend fell off his rip-stick this afternoon, landing on his head. He said he passed out, but they made it home. He said he was dizzy and has a large lump on his head. He says he is feeling slightly nauseous, has no interest in food but is drinking. He is very alert and talking ok. No vomiting. Should I be doing anything more tonight?

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

As of now, he seems to be out of danger. However, please watch for warning signs such as vomiting, severe headache, double vision, decreased alertness, fits, etc. If any of these findings occur, please take him to ER and get a CT scan of the head done tonight. If he remains well, the scan can be postponed to tomorrow.

Please get back if you require any additional information.

Best wishes,
