Feeling Heavy In Right Arm, Not Feeling Normal. Normal Blood Tests. Any Ideas?

My right arm feels heavy and using the hand for task which require dexterity, writing with a pen...are not impossible, or even difficult, but it does not feel normal, and it is not comfortable and sometimes frustrating. This condition is intermittent, there does not seem to be any particular food, activity, or anything else that triggers these episodes or make them worse. Left arm is fine, could you please point me in the right direction? My gynecologist suggested last year at my annual that is could be MS, or a Vitamin D deficiency, but after a blood test he had tested, there didn't seem to be any idea.

Thanks for any help you could give me. I am 54 female 125 lbs 5'4"...always been in good health, no neurological history in my family tree.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Based on your symptoms in the description, I suspect that you could be having some issues in the cervical spine (looks like more of neurological involvement) or locally in the arm & shoulder girdle.

A detailed clinical examination and appropriate investigations are needed to establish a possibe diagnosis.

I suggest you to consult a neurophysician for further evaluation and management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
